How Is Laser Skin Resurfacing Performed?

We begin by applying a numbing cream to the treatment areas. Once the laser treatment begins, you will feel some heat and tingling as the laser is passed over the skin. Over the next week, your skin will have a dry sandpaper-like texture which fades with time as the skin exfoliates. After this exfoliation, you are left with fresher, clearer skin. Unlike more intensive procedures, you can return to normal activities within two days, rather than 5 to 7 days like other similar skin treatments.

Dr. Pearce was on call at Round Rock Medical Center at a very difficult moment for my family.
